The Zen artist, Hakuin Ekaku, will show his artwork at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Japan Pavillion, located at 5905 Wilshire Blvd., L.A. Nearly 80 of his scrolls from collections in the United States and Japan will be displayed. Museum hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday noon to 8 p.m.; Friday noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; closed Wednesday. Info: (323) 857-6565 or www.lacma.org.
