The Ruth Bancroft Garden will host the “Uncovering the Incredible History of Contra Costa County’s Japanese American Farmers” lecture from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1552 Bancroft Road in Walnut Creek. Learn the “scale and scope” of Japanese American farmers’ contributions to the county’s “agricultural economy, and the work of the Kansha History project to preserve” this history.
