Utah: “Testament to Topaz” exhibit closes

The Loge Gallery, and Pioneer Theatre Company presents a public reception to welcome “Testament to Topaz: Art by former internees from the Topaz Internment Camp.” The reception will be held at the Loge Gallery, which is located on the mezzanine level of Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre on the University of Utah campus, 300 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City from 2 to 4 p.m. Jane Beckwith, curator of the Topaz Museum, will discuss the art during this public showing. The exhibit of artwork by Topaz inmates will be on display in the Loge Gallery through April 2, 2011, in conjunction with the run of the drama The Diary of Anne Frank at Pioneer Theatre Company.  Admission is free to the public.
