The 2011 Sushi and Sake Gala will be held at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, 1400 Sixth Ave., Seattle, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a sushi and sake reception, and a silent auction. The benefit dinner begins at 7 p.m. The proceeds from this event supports Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project, which uses digital technology to preserve the testimonies of Japanese Americans who were unjustly incarcerated during World War II.
