The University of Washington’s East Asia Library presents “Books—Survival and Revival,” an exhibit featuring the work of Naomi Kasumi. Kasumi focuses on depicting complex cultural perspectives derived from her own personal experiences. The exhibit consists of three parts: Transitional Bindings in Japan, Eastern and Western Bindings and Early Modern Books in Japan. The Library is located at 322 Gowen Hall and is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. On Fridays, the library is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on the weekends from 1 to 5 p.m. Info: (206) 543-4490.
