Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens are “a center for Japanese arts and culture in South Florida, with rotating exhibitions in its galleries, tea ceremonies performed monthly in its Seishin-an Tea House.” It has an educational outreach program with local schools and organizations and hosts traditional Japanese festivals for the public throughout the year. Hours: Tuesdays through Sundays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Mondays and on major national holidays. Cost: Adults (ages 18-plus): $15, seniors (65-plus) and military (with ID): $13, college students with ID: $11, children (ages 6-17): $9, free for children ages 5 and younger. Members: free.
