Located eight miles north of downtown Fresno, the Pinedale Assembly Center housed a total of 4,823 detainees from Sacramento and El Dorado counties, Oregon and Washington. A Remembrance Plaza was dedicated in 2009 at West Alluvial Avenue between Ingram and Palm Avenues in Fresno, California.
