The Nichi Bei Weekly is a Japanese American, community-focused publication based in San Francisco. We’re a non-profit ethnic newspaper, the first of its kind in the U.S. We cover national and international news, as well as community issues, sports, arts & entertainment and culture, as well as review films, food and books. Our model gains its strength from a foundation in the continuing civil rights movement. We aim to reach out to the Asian Pacific Islander community and its needs, as well as reflect it.
