Italian Residence

For most of the history of this early 1900s building at 600 North Third St., it served as the residence of an Italian family. Two Nisei attorneys, Wayne Kanemoto and Peter Nakahara, purchased the building in 1960 and renovated it to use as their offices. In 1970, Judge Kanemoto — the first Nisei to be appointed a municipal judge by the governor, in 1962 — became the sole owner of the building.
