JACL Florin Chapter

Their primary purpose is to promote civil and human rights for all. Yearly events include Mochi Madness, Northern California Time of Remembrance, Manzanar Pilgrimage, Ice Cream/Scholarship Social, “Obon Dance Workshop,” Women’s Forum, Nikkei Dog Scholarship Fundraiser, Annual Awards/Installation Lunch. The chapter aims to promote civil rights, social justice, and cultural heritage through education, alliances, and leadership.
