The Minidoka National Historic Site is located 20 miles northeast of Twin Falls, Idaho. There is no entrance fee charged to visit the site. The Minidoka Visitor Center is open seasonally; check the Website for current hours of operation. Visit the Current Conditions page for the latest information on closures and tour availability. The Visitor Center, which opened in 2020, includes a theater screening the new park film; two exhibits on the history of the Japanese American incarceration experience at Minidoka and one dedicated to the first-generation pioneers called “The Issei: A Legacy of Courage” installed by the Friends of Minidoka; and a bookstore.
