Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival
The Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities Inc. will hold the 40th annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Cupertino’s Memorial Park, the Quinlan Center and the Senior Center from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Highlights include: ikebana, Japanese swords, bonsai, suiseki and koi exhibits, live entertainment featuring taiko drums, dancing and musical groups as well as martial arts. The cultural offerings will include tea ceremony, origami, calligraphy and soroban demonstrations. Children’s activities will include a petting zoo, pony rides and more. Sushi, teriyaki chicken, gyoza, sake and other food and drinks will be sold, along with arts and crafts vendors will sell jewelry, clothes, home decor and Japanese gifts. Info: Visit
