SF: J-Town Arts Invites you to be a “Woman Making Art”

16 Feb

J-town arts hosts monthly art workshop. Bring your own materials and ideas to create an art-filled Year of the Rabbit. During the first session, participants will observe a silkscreen demonstration from the 2011 Oshogatsu Festival T-shirt design by J-Town Artist, Leon Sun. Bring a T-shirt to receive a free New Year’s Rabbit Design. Bring your art materials, snacks or drink and get ready to make art. Some pastels and paints will be provided, but bring the media of your choice. Maybe you’d rather carve, weave, sew or bead  …. Just as long as we’re creating, it’ll be a good thing. Cost is $5-10 donations, accepted for space usage. For more info, visit J-town Arts at http://jtownarts.blogspot.com. Call Holly Calica for questions at (415) 235-6479.
