The Yolo County Board of Supervisors invites the community to honor the resilience of Japanese American communities by attending the Japantown Monument dedication ceremony. Hosted by the Historical Society of Winters, the ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. at Rotary Park at 201 E Main St. in Winters, Calif. This monument serves as a symbol of the challenges endured, including the fire damage sustained as families were returning to rebuild their lives after the war.
