‘AAPI Activism & Oral History Project’

The Japanese American Museum of San Jose announces the launch of the “AAPI Activism & Oral History Project” from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin Annex at 632 North Fifth St. in San Jose’s Japantown. The museum will present “a new oral history archive and engaging learning modules based on 33 video-recorded interviews with local AAPI activists, such as PJ and Roy Hirabayashi, Connie Young Yu and Robert Ragsac.” The San José State University Asian American Studies program led the project. “The program will include remarks by project lead Dr. Yvonne Kwan and the community advisory committee, a demonstration of the curriculum, and a reception.” Register: https://forms.gle/VQ9MiCfqTNRh58bT9.
